Neste domingo 18/05 o Bromos viajou a capital do estado para duas partidas frente ao líder da temporada 2008, apesar de todas as dificuldades que a equipe enfrenta relacionado a campo, a apresentação foi boa. Não conseguiu vencer as duas partidas, mas trouxe uma vitória para a nossa cidade.Como de costume em um jogo de beisebol nada esta perdido e a emoção esta presente em todo momento, durante a partida realizada pela manhã o Bromos apresentou algumas falhas no sistema defensivo e após estar perdendo por 8x3 na última chance de ataque para virar a partida a equipe conseguiu uma reação, neste caso a virada não foi possível mas a emoção foi contagiante pelo momento da partida, o placar final apresentou 8x7 para o Farrapos.
No jogo que começou as 14h30 para o Bromos o único resultado que poderia trazer tranqüilidade na competição seria a vitória, já no primeiro ataque foram anotados 5 pontos e com uma excelente atuação do arremessador Eder e ótimas defesas das rebatidas dos adversários o nosso representante consegui segurar e aumentar o placar, ao final da partida o resultado mostrava uma bela vitória com o placar de 9x1.
A competição apresenta neste momento a liderança do Farrapos com 3 vitórias e 1 derrota, o Bromos aparece em segundo com 2 vitórias e 2 derrotas, Cerâmica com 1 vitória e 1 derrota e Hunters com 0 vitória e 2 derrotas..
O Bromos continua seus treinamentos no parque esportivo do SESI aos feriados e domingos a partir das 9h, os próximos jogos serão dia 08 de junho as 9h e 14h em Pelotas frente ao Hunters de Santa Cruz do Sul.
